She's Here!

These pictures are a little out of order, but oh well. After two weeks of false labor I was DONE! so my doctor induced me Monday night at about 8:30, at 11:30 they broke my water, and Eva Noel was born at 2:08 Dec. 9, she and her Grandma Barber share the same birthday! Since we have been home she has been an absolute angel. Most of the time she is sleeping, or eating, but she is so much fun and we are enjoying getting to know her!

This is usually how you will find her, sound asleep.

Belen meeting her new sister for the first time, she is actually doing really well, sometimes she gets upset about sharing her Mommy but most of the time she wants to smother her in kisses.

Everyone can't believe how much hair she was born with but to me it doesn't seem like that much after seeing how much Rilee Grace (Rachel's baby) was born with, it was at least twice as long!

The nurse took this right after she was born, I know I look frightening, but at least I have a good excuse!
I am so glad she is here and you can all look forward to lots more pictures, we are praying she stays as good as she in now, but only time will tell!

Family Pictures

Well I finally got new family pictures taken, the last time we had pictures taken Bey was two weeks old, so here are a few of my favorites.

I know it is kind of crazy to have pictures taken four weeks before I'm due but I think that they turned out pretty good, even though I look puffy and large!

Worst Blogger Ever

I know, I am not a good blogger, but Krista tagged me so I will respond and post some pictures of the summer later!

Ten years ago I was...
1) A junior in High School
2) Cruisin' in the blue Toyota pick-up
3) Working at K-Mart
4) Trying to figure out what and who I wanted to be (Finished school to be a high school History teacher but I have the greatest job ever being a Mom)
5) Trying not to get killed by my parents ;)

Five things on my to-do list today:
1) Take a long shower, that might turn into a bath
2) Work (lame)
3) Make sure I give Belen plenty of hugs and kisses
4) Go to my friend Lesha's baby shower
5) Buy a present for my friend Lesha's baby shower

Five things I would do if I were a millionaire:
1) Get out of debt (house, student loans, ect.)
2) Buy a new car!
3) Buy a new house, mine is too tiny!
4) Save
5) Go on a really long, exotic trip, after the baby is here and bigger

Five places I have lived:
1) Mom and Dad's
2) Dumpy college apartment in Provo #1
3) Dumpy college apartment in Provo #2
4) Spanish Fork Apartment after we were married (Thanks Rachel and Nic)
5) Our house now in Springville

Five places I have worked: (I will pick the 5 crappiest, I have had MANY jobs)
1) Love-2-Learn day care, 'nough said!
2) Little Acorn
3) Over night Gap stocker, the discount was great, working from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. not so much
4) Janitor for Central Bank (As of this week we are done!!!)
5) Server at Ruby River, usually a great job but every now and then you get a customer that makes you HATE your job!

I tag Jennifer, Melinda, Bethany, Rachel, and Racie

Rules: Each player answers the question themselves. At the end of the post the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment letting them know that they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person that tagged you know when you've answered the questions on your blog.

Long Live Summer!

As promised here are some new pictures, we have been super busy already this summer. Casey decided not to take any classes this summer so we want to make every day count!

We kicked of summer with Casey's cousin Ryan's wedding in Las Vegas the day after finals. The rented a few party buses and drove us all out to Red Rock National Park for the ceremony, the only problem was the ride out made me so sick and I threw up once we got there! This is Belen on the bus, at first she was kind of confused as to why she wasn't straped down in her car seat (there we no seatbelts at all!).
At the end of May we took Bey to Hoogle Zoo for the first time, granted she is a little young still but we had so much fun! She loved seeing the big kitties and the penguins.

Not the best picture but she is admiring a chimp through the glass and when other kids would come up to the window and block her view she freaked out.

We made our first trip to the Spanish Fork Pool and it was still kind of chilly but Bey was a maniac and just wanted to run wild, it will be so much fun when she can actually swim.

After the pool we went to Barry's for ice cream, a very messy tradition.

The next couple of pictures are at Lagoon, Casey's cousins came from out of town and we all went up for the day. Again, Bey is a little to small to really have fun there but we had a good time, Casey was able to take her on a few rides and by the end of the day she was pooped! She got a little too excited while she was running and turfed it resulting in a big, sad scraped knee, but after the incident she was so exhausted that she fell asleep in my lap, what a sweet baby.

She was terrified to get on this dragon ride and it wasn't until the second loop around that she started to have fun.

And finally we took Bey to the Art City Days carnival for the first time, and we were suprised that alot of the kiddie rides were small enough that she could go by herself, except the merry-go-round which she was terrified of. At home she will sit on the dogs and sing "pony, pony, pony," so we thought she would love riding on the big pony but she wouldn't sit with her legs over the horse and Casey had to hold her the entire time, what a goof-ball.

The train was by far her favorite, it was the first ride she went on by herself and she really didn't understand why we were making her get off when the ride ended.

It's only the middle of June and already we have had such a fun summer and we are still looking forward to our annual trip to Lake Powell and a possible trip to Yellowstone is in the works! We'll keep you all posted on what happening and we are hoping to know the sex of our baby at the end of July!

Remembering

I love her blue eyes!
This was at Lake Louise in Banff Canada last summer, one of my favorite pictures.

This was taken last year for Mother's Day, she was so tiny!

This picture is from May '07 we spent the weekend in St. George and were headed to the pool.
I was looking at my giant child today and was missing when she was little baby, I thought I would post some of my favorite pictures of her and remember when she was my tiny girl. I love how much fun she is now but still miss having a baby in the house, but I guess soon enough we will have a big girl and a tiny baby!

Hello?

I was just online blog surfing and I am now rededicated to posting more often and getting some pictures on. Life is great C is taking the summer off and we are doing lots of projects around the house, namely a garden, we are half way through planting and are looking forward to seeing little sprouts here in a few days. We also have some news, we are expecting our second bundle of joy! I just had my first appointment and I am at 11 weeks and my due date is Dec. 14, soooooo long away. As of right now we are bothing leaning towards a boy, with our daughter I was never sick and felt great through the whole pregnancy, but this time around I want to live in either the bath tub or in bed! Hopefully the crappiness will subside in a few weeks! For now that is all, but I will be getting some pictures up in the next few days, B has grown so much those who haven't seen her in a while won't belive how huge she is!

Thursday, April 3, 2008

I still haven't tried to put pictures on but the fact that I am making a second post is a good thing! I have yet to inform family and friends of this blog but will be doing so shortly! Summer is coming up quickly and I will be taking a few classes at UVU to keep my teaching license active so Casey will get the whole summer without school. I am already making a mental list of all the projects I would like done over the summer! Well I guess I will attempt adding pictures and will hopefully get the word out so I get some comments!

A Second Try

Well this is my second time trying to blog, hopefully I can stick with it so we can keep in touch with all of our family and friends that are out of state. Last time I had trouble up loading my pictures so hopefully this time I will learn how to figure it out. Things here are great we are looking forward to Spring this had been a really long winter and it is really nice to get outside and feel the sunshine. We took B to the park yesterday and she mastered the slide on her own, she is getting so big, and is really becoming her own funny little person. I am going to try to load some pictures so I guess we will all see if I can get the kinks worked out!
